The Colorado Dance Education Organization (CoDEO) is a state affiliate of the National Dance Education Organization (NDEO).
The purpose of CoDEO shall be to enrich the lives of the people of Colorado by supporting and promoting dance arts and arts performances through education, communication and advocacy.

Attend The Conference Dance Students, Dance Educators and more can attend and participate in workshops and performances. Online Registration Deadline January 6, 2026 - In-person registration may be made onsite

Choreographer - CoDEO board invited choreographers will work with students and set a piece to be performed Sunday evening.
Workshop Presenter - share your passion for dance education with our attending students or educators! Submission deadline early September

Colorado Showcase Performer - bring your own work and share it with conference attendees during the Conference Kick-Off performance Saturday evening. Submission deadline early November

Colorado All-State Dance Ensemble - Audition to be chosen as the best of the best and get the opportunity to perform a new work. Submission deadline early November

CoDEO Student Film Festival - Submit your student produced dance film and get the opportunity to be screened at the conference. Submission deadline early November

CoDEO is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and advocating for dance education in the state of Colorado. CoDEO provides the dance artist and dance educator a state and national network of resources and support, as well as access to programs and projects that focus on the importance of dance in education. The purpose of the Colorado Dance Education Organization shall be to enrich the lives of the people of Colorado by supporting and promoting dance arts and arts performances through education, communication and advocacy.
