What to Expect at the 2021 Virtual Conference
Opening Events and Performance:
Featuring NHSDA Student Choreography Showcase and Colorado Dance Showcase
Presenters have the option of submitting their materials for attendees to experience at
their own pace in their own space
January 23 & 24 will have live classes and presentations scheduled throughout the day
Student and Educator Tracks:
Enriching experiences for dance students and educators, both pre-recorded and live
How to Get Involved in the Conference:
Workshop Presenter Call For Proposals are due December 12th, 2020
Opening Events Virtual Performer Applications are due December 12th, 2020
Conference Registration for students and professionals closes January 15th, 2020
Applications for the CoDEO Annual Scholarship will be accepted through January 1st for all registere

What to Expect at a Normal Conference:
Opening and Closing Showcases: featuring student and professional choreography.
Student Track: college entrance and scholarship audition classes in Ballet and Jazz, the opportunity to have work choreographed on them by renowned choreographers, special elective workshops and performance opportunities.
Student Scholarships: Students who excel in talent, focus, dedication and artistry will be considered for one of three scholarships awarded by CoDEO to be used towards their future dance education (i.e tuition for a studio, workshop, or college).
Professional/Educator Track: engaging panel discussions, a wide selection of workshops-both inside and outside of the studio, group movement sessions, performance opportunities, and the unexpected meeting of new friends!
Continuing Education Credit: Teachers may earn credit for attending both days of the conference.
