6th Annual Dance Conference
January 25 and 26th, 2020
Presented in cooperation with Colorado State University and the
CSU School of Music, Theatre and Dance
University Center for the Arts, 1400 Remington St., Fort Collins, CO
Education is at the heart of all careers, personal growth and societal transformation.
It is one of life's threads that weaves the entire tapestry of our collective experience together.
It cannot be experienced alone but must be shared with others!
What to Expect at the Conference:
Opening and Closing Showcases: featuring student and professional choreography.
Student Track: college entrance and scholarship audition classes in Ballet and Jazz, the opportunity to have work choreographed on them by renowned choreographers, special elective workshops and performance opportunities.
Student Scholarships: Students who excel in talent, focus, dedication and artistry will be considered for one of three scholarships awarded by CoDEO to be used towards their future dance education (i.e tuition for a studio, workshop, or college).
Professional/Educator Track: engaging panel discussions, a wide selection of workshops-both inside and outside of the studio, group movement sessions, performance opportunities, and the unexpected meeting of new friends!
Continuing Education Credit: Teachers may earn credit for attending both days of the conference.
